Routine maintenance of your
pressure wash equipment will ensure reliability and longevity of
your equipment. Properly maintained equipment will help you to
avoid unscheduled down time. When properly maintained, a
pressure washer will provide years of service.
Suggested Maintenance Schedule
Weekly
- Lubricate quick connect fittings
- Inspect o-rings; replaces as needed
- Inspect hoses; repair or replace as needed
Every 30 hours of operation
Every 500 hours of operation
When backpressure exceeds 1000 psi
When burner not heating properly or soot builds up
When algae, sand, chemicals or grit collect in water
tank
Tune-ups*
- Engine tune-up: change air filter and spark plug (when
engine runs poorly)
- Burner System tune-up: diesel fuel filter, fuel nozzle
& electrode, annually
- Replace pump seals and packing upon pulsation or low
pressure
*tune-up schedule will be unique to
operating conditions and usage
An hour meter is strongly
recommended to ensure that maintenance schedule is observed.
